About

The emphasis when Aaron performs is to create an easy listening laid back atmosphere, which is also very danceable and fun. The repertoire consists of many of the much loved songs of artist such as Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Dire Straits, Eric Clapton etc - plus some Roots Blues, Folk and Country music thrown in to make it 'something for everyone'.

Aaron's acoustic fingerstyle, bottleneck and also electric guitar playing - is well respected throughout Australia, and on stage Aaron uses a Taylor Acoustic guitar, Metal bodied Resophonic guitars as well as the Electric guitar, to create varying moods. To enhance Aarons musicianship, he uses 'very light backing tracks' and on some material its is purely guitar and vocals, and maybe just a foot tapping stomp box to supply the beat.

Aaron was founder member of the Classic Rock Band 'ICE' in the 80's - as well as having played previously with 'The Beatnix' (Beatles tribute band) and further back The TREMELOES' (Uk recording artists) in the 70's. Aaron formed the highly respected and successful cabaret band KOKOMO, in the late 80's - which became the resident band at both The Burswood casino and Hilary' Marina cabaret lounge. In 1994 Aaron moved to the UK - performing solo throughout the United Kingdom and Europe, returning to Australia in late 2001. As well as performing live, Aaron teaches Guitar 4 days a week from his home studio.

Aaron J Woolley is perfect for all events including corporate functions and weddings.

Aaron Woolley was absolutely fabulous. Everyone commented on how great the music was. His repertoire is endless. The music wasn’t loud but it was very pleasant in the background and it certainly added to the atmosphere of a very successful evening. Thankyou
